My question10:24

Can we retry the request when the API times out? I want to avoid sending the same update twice.

AI answer10:25

Use a bounded retry with exponential backoff. Keep the original request unchanged.

For this endpoint, I’d use:

  • A maximum of 3 attempts.
  • A short delay between attempts.
  • The same idempotency key for every attempt.
await withRetry(
  () => sendUpdate(payload, requestKey),
  { attempts: 3, delay: 500 },
);

If the server already accepted the update, the key lets it return the existing result.

What is the difference between free and paid?

The free plan searches the latest 100 conversations and exports one conversation at a time. Paid plans search all conversations and add batch export. The 100-conversation limit is not a limit on searches or matching messages. View pricing ↗

Why can't I find my conversations?

Context reads conversation files on this computer. Conversations stored only in the cloud or on another device cannot be found by scanning. Read Agent support documentation ↗

Are my conversations uploaded?

Context reads and processes Agent conversations locally. Scanning, full-text search, reading, and export do not upload conversation text to our servers. Privacy policy ↗
